Land Rover And Jaguar To Find New CEO

Since the passing of CEO Geoff Polites Jaguar and Land Rover have been taken care of by the chief financial officer David Smith. However, they are about to appoint a brand new chief executive as the two companies transition from Ford to the Indian automaker Tata.

When the deal was first announced Tata stated that they wished to keep many of the original management. Yet, many of the jobs that were once manages by Ford are going to need someone new to fill them. As a result, the automakers are reportedly recruiting externally for several senior positions. Whether Tata ultimately decides to promote from within or hire a new chief executive from outside the company remains to be seen, but an announcement is expected as early as June 2.
